Consulting:
With over thirty years of experience as an educator, Bernajeans seminars and project work reflect extensive, practical experience in technology planning projects, TLCF grants, and technology audits from over 2500 districts throughout the United States and overseas. This includes community future searches, strategic planning, education technology audits, designing and implementing staff development programs, as well as building leadership capacity for systemic change within organizations using technology. She recently developed the IL Technology Planning Blueprint and IL NextSteps technology assessment toolkit for statewide implementation in Illinois. She is author of Grappling with Accountability 2002: MAPPing Tools for Organizing and
Assessing Technology for Student Results and Evaluating Student Computer-based Products. Her work uses the application of systems thinking and chaos theory to deal with the challenges of change and re-culturing efforts in education today.
